End of half term news
This half term we have welcomed a new member of staff. Ildi has recently relocated to Essex and come to us as a specialist teacher in Maths and PE.
Pantomime trip review by our students
“The car ride to Colchester was fun as we played and sang Christmas songs in the car. The panto was not what I expected. It was bright and there were a lot of jokes which were funny. There were lots of interaction with the audience. We also brought our own snack – I had a blue Slushie which I liked!”
Christmas Crafts
Our young people have been getting into the festive spirit by decorating the Centre with handmade paper chains, personalised handprint gonks and paper mache snowmen. The Centre has smelt wonderful with peppermint creams being made in small groups and decorated beautifully afterwards.
Special Events/Activities/News
If your young person has an achievement or award from outside of our provision, we would love to hear about this so we can share their successes. If there are activities that your young person would like to try, please let us know and we will try to facilitate this.
Free activities over the holidays
Essex County Council have organised a range of fun activities and clubs for the children to attend.Certain restrictions apply but there is a huge range of choice. “Our fantastic club providers are offering free activity clubs for children and young people this half term across Essex! Clubs support children aged 4-16 years including primary and secondary clubs, specialist SEND, mental wellbeing and youth clubs.”

It all begins with an idea. Maybe you want to launch a business. Maybe you want to turn a hobby into something more. Or maybe you have a creative project to share with the world. Whatever it is, the way you tell your story online can make all the difference.
Don’t worry about sounding professional. Sound like you. There are over 1.5 billion websites out there, but your story is what’s going to separate this one from the rest. If you read the words back and don’t hear your own voice in your head, that’s a good sign you still have more work to do.
Be clear, be confident and don’t overthink it. The beauty of your story is that it’s going to continue to evolve and your site can evolve with it. Your goal should be to make it feel right for right now. Later will take care of itself. It always does.
